How the DravoFit member app handles your information.
This policy covers the DravoFit member app, the app you use with your gym to check in, book classes, see what you owe and hear from the gym. It does not cover this website, which has its own notice.

Who is responsible
Your gym is your provider. It holds your membership, decides what to record about you, and is the one you deal with about your account.
DravoFit provides the software your gym runs on and publishes the app. We hold and process your information for your gym, to run the service it uses, and not for any purpose of our own.
What is collected
- Your profile and contacts, as your gym records them: your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, member number, and any notes the gym's staff write.
- Your devices: for each phone you sign in on, its model, its platform (Android or iOS), the app's version, when it was last used, and the push tokens that let the gym's notifications reach it.
- Your check-ins and your bookings, including waitlist places and cancellations.
- Your charges and payments: memberships, what you owe, what you have paid and the receipts for it.
- Payment-proof files you upload, such as a screenshot of a transfer, with the reference you type.
- The forms you accept or decline, such as a waiver or the gym's house rules, with the version and the time.
- Your notification preferences, and the notifications the gym sends you, by email or push.
The app uses your camera only while you scan a gym code, scan a check-in station's code, or take a photo of a payment proof, and reads a photo or file only when you choose one to send. Neither is collected otherwise. On your phone the app keeps which gym it belongs to, your sign-in, and a copy of what it last showed you so that it works offline.
Why it is collected
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To run your membership: your card, check-in at the door, class bookings, what you owe and what you have paid.
- To let your gym check a payment you made outside the app, from the proof you send.
- To send you the notices you have not switched off, such as booking confirmations, class reminders and dues reminders, and offers only if you turn them on.
- To keep the records your gym needs: financial records, visits, and the forms you accepted.
No advertising, no analytics
The app collects nothing for advertising. It contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking. Your information is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it
We use three service providers, each only for the job described here:
- Contabo hosts the servers and stores uploaded files, in the European Union.
- ZeptoMail, a Zoho service, sends email: your sign-in codes and the gym's notifications. Its account is in the United States.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service, delivers push notifications to your phone, using its push token.
So your information is stored outside Egypt, in the European Union, and an email to you passes through the United States.
Your information is encrypted in transit: the app talks to our servers over HTTPS, and our servers reach these providers over HTTPS too.
How long it is kept
Your information is kept while you are a member of your gym and use the app. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time; see how to delete your account.
When your gym completes that request, it erases your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, the staff's notes, your devices, your notification preferences, the text of the messages sent to you, and the payment-proof files you uploaded.
It keeps, tied to your member number: your memberships, charges, payments and receipts, which are financial records; the amounts and decisions of the payments you claimed with a proof; your check-ins and bookings; the forms you accepted, which are the gym's record of what you agreed to; a record of when notifications were sent, without their text; and a record of actions taken on your account, without personal details. Receipts already issued keep the name printed on them, because they are financial records.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information held about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. In the app, Profile shows the contact details your gym has for you and lets you ask for a change, which reception confirms; Profile, then Notifications, switches each kind of notification on or off.
Your gym can answer most requests at reception. You can also write to us at support@dravofit.com, and we will pass your request to your gym and help it answer.
If this changes
If the app starts collecting something new, or uses a new provider, this page will change first, and the date at the top will say when.
